About us
Today, if there is any
institution which exerts the greatest influence on us after the family, it is
the school. The years that we spend in school are not merely time spent in
learning and filling our minds with knowledge, but also time spent in moldings
our character, acquiring various attitudes and imbibing basic principles of
life. The basic trails of our personality are formed during our school days.
School is a place of
pride to one and all. lt is the place where one is prepared to meet the future
challenges one's life. The school achieves this by introducing the young
generation of the society to master in the basic skills of Reading, Writing,
arithmetic and the Computers and serves as a ladder for success in higher
education and personal pursuits.
History
Dr.
Williams Samuvel started his ministry in 1986 when he was hired as a minister
at James Church, Lakshmanapuram. At the same time Kurakkavadi, Karianur,
Vellavadi, Lakshmanapuram and Ko kudikadui villages were not educated So he
desided to educate the younger generation and he used to talk about importance
of the Education.Publics are happy and they are requested to him to start the
School in their Village by the Movement the founder agree to start the School.
Because
of the dedicated life of Dr.Wiliams Samuvel and His Wife Mrs.Lilly Williams the
school developed up to Present status. They were served not only in Education
Ministry. They were served the people through their Health Ministry in Those
days they were no any hospital or Clinics One who want to go for 20 km for
their Emergency Treatment.
Now the School Record says more than 400 Students are Doctors / Engineers / Teachers / and working in Different Part of the Government sectors and Private Institutions
The
first LKG class was started in 1990 with 40 crescents in an office room of
Korakawadi Panchayat under the Permission Korakkavadi Village President Mr.V. Palanimuthu.
Our
School KPWA English School Got Approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu
Director of Elementary Education Chennai Dated on 25.03.1994(Approval
No.na.ka.no.24453/Tho.ka.aa2/93)Class from LKG to 3rd Standard. Totally 150
students in academic year 1993 – 1994.
In
the academic year 2004 - 2005, two more classes from LKG to V were upgraded and
got permanent recognition as KPWA Stephen Nursery and Primary School.
Also
in the academic year-2010-2011-The School Board Decided to start a High School
and the Construction was Established and Completed in the tat EDUCATION Year
itself. Later on the grade was upgraded
as Stephen High School and the approval document files were submitted to the
Director of Secondary Education, Tamil Nadu, Chennai and from VI standard to IX
standard.
Continually
Our Students are achieved high Marks in Board Exams.
Our objectives
Following the footsteps of Lord Jesus Christ the light of the
world, who came to serve the humanity to see the light and shine through the
values of reign of God in the Society, Through Educational Excellence.
We impart education to all irrespective of caste and creed and
help them grow and develop in their own cultural, social and religious
tradition. We strive in the students a spirit of universal brotherhood and love
so that we become the members of the global family sharing their cultural
heritage.

KPWA Stephen school begin its academics with only 40 students in the year
1986 but with the untiring attempts of our staff, constant support of parents
and zealous performance of our students this small beginning became big and touched
the pinnacle of success.
As an educator I had an earnest desire to build up an institution where
an education blended in all colors of human values could be given and today I
feel proud to say that my lofty dream of a quality institution is taking shape
through it. Today KPWA Stephen school is one of the fastest growing schools of
our area because of the high standards it has set for itself in providing
excellent education and living up to its school motto "Inspire to Enlighten".
I have always believed that, "Excellence is never an accident; it's
always the result of high intention, sincere efforts, intelligent direction and
skilful execution." These words of wisdom best describe the present state
of the KPWA Stephen school.
I give all my blessings to the KPWA Stephen school, to the staff,
students, parents and all those associated with this Institution. I pray that
God, in His divine benevolence, continues to lead and guide this prestigious
Institution for generations to come.

In retrospect of the long journey of the Education Ministry passed through hardships and challenges especially in the initial years of its. the founder Dr.Williams Samuel and His Wife Mrs. Lilly Williams who came from Bangalore to Lashmanapuram Village as a Evangelist Appointed by Rev.Stephen LELC –Indian Mission President, and they where accommodated in church Hall in the year of 1986. From that time they have started their Committed Service through Evangelical, Education and Treatment for the Rural Village Development without any Cost, Creed, Race and Religion. In 1991 they have Extend their Ministry for the Benefit of poor’s nearly 20 villages which are surrounded by lashmanapuram and Korakkavadi. In those days there was No Transport, No Schools and No Hospital. In the Very beginning of 1991 they have started a kinder garden school with 40 kids at Village Panchayat office of Korakkavadi with the permission of Village president Mr.V. Palanimuthu. Now the School Record says more than 400 Students are Doctors/Engineers/Teachers/and working in Different Part of the Government sectors and Private Institutions. All Because of Our Lord Jesus Christ's Mercy on them. Mother.Mrs.Lilly one who committed her life for the Mission and She scarified her life for present Stephen High School. She worked as a Evangelist, Adviser for the Stephen School, Midwife in LELC Medical Team and she was a Very Good Cook and Hospitable Usually she feeds One who came with Hungary in 24*7 and she will not send a person with empty hand. She is Good care taker of her family. She worked without taking rest on Earth so she went to heaven (November 12th-2017)to take Eternal rest from there she praying to god for our Stephen School. Her Dreams are Coming true day by day…. All because of her blessings and Prayers from above.
